Clark County Fair

Over Easter weekend was the Clark County Fair. The boys spent Thursday and Friday out in Logandale doing everything they could at the fair. I spent the whole weekend out there working, but I also did get to spend time with the boys. Drew had fun taking them around the fair, and then spent Saturday and Sunday at home for a "boys weekend." Teagan and Quin had fun riding horses, carnival rides, and the train. At least Teagan had fun on the horses. Quin rode a horse, but cried the entire time. As soon as he got off, he stopped crying and said "horsee." They were pretty worn out by the end of each day.

Teagan loves to ride horses!

Quin would rather just watch!

We rode the train with Kelli and Dylan. I think that this was Quin's favorite.

Taryn

I went to the doctor yesterday and we finally set a date for my c-section. Taryn will be born on May 7, 2009. A little later than I had hoped for, but the doctor wouldn't budge. So I think that there is 23 days left, but who's counting!

Easter

The kids had fun with Easter this year. We ended up doing a fake Easter a week early because I was out working the fair on the actual Easter. We figured that the kids were young enough that they wouldn't even know the difference! So here are some of our fake Easter pictures.
Quin dying Easter eggs. He would drop the egg in, and the coloring would splash all over.

The Easter bunny came to grandma and grandpa's house too.

Teagan was so fast at finding eggs, that we really didn't get any pictures of him.

The Easter bunny left a goody bag for each of the grandkids.

Here's all of the grandkids with their new hats on.

Our Backyard

On Friday, the kids got a big surprise. We had "grass" put into our backyard. We decided to do a synthetic lawn because it was low maintenance and green all year long. We also didn't want to have to mow and water it (we're in a drought, you know!). So, now the kids have a place to play instead of walking around on hard rocks and making volcanoes.

Touch-a-Truck

The boys had so much fun at Touch-a-Truck this year. This is Teagan's third year, and Quin's second. This year, Quin was much more interested in the trucks. They both had fun climbing in and out of the different cars and trucks. We finally left with both boys exhausted and hungry.
