Halloween and Thanksgiving

I'm a little behind in my blog, so here's a little catch-up. For Halloween the kids were able to go to two different ward parties. They had fun dressing up as Spiderman (Teagan), a Farmer (Quin), and a Bumblebee (Taryn). Unfortunately, I don't think we got any pictures of them. We also drove to Palm Desert for Halloween. The kids went to another Trunk-or-Treat with our friends Jake and Shamina. Jake was blessing their new baby Conner on Sunday, so it was nice to be able to go visit them for the weekend.

Taryn was a bumblebee.

For Thanksgiving, the kids were able to see their Uncle Corey and Aunt Mary Ann for a few hours before we left town. We went to Sacramento for the long weekend. We weren't able to leave until 6 p.m., but it actually worked out better because the kids slept most of the way. We had two Thanksgiving dinners, one with each side of Drew's family. The kids had fun hanging out at grandma and grandpa's house. On the way home, we stopped at my Uncle Jon's house. We had dinner with them, and then the kids played for a few hours with their "cousins". This also provided a sleepy ride home for the kids. It was a great weekend, but it went very fast.

Fashion Show

The best part about having a daughter is playing dress up! Here are some of Taryn's cute outfits. The hairbows are strictly to entertain my family...although I think Drew secretly likes them!

Starting Soccer and Veggies!

Taryn is now 4 months old, so she has begun to eat her veggies! She LOVED her peas the first time that she ate them. She actually didn't get that messy either. Taryn is now 13 lbs. 6 oz. and 25 1/4 inches long. She wiggles around on the ground like she is trying to crawl. I think that it won't be very long before she is crawling! She also rolls all over the living room. Teagan has started soccer. He played his first game on Saturday. He is on a four year old team, but they were bumped up to a six year old league. So, they got their butts kicked, but they had fun playing. He looks so cute in his little uniform! Quin has been potty training. He doesn't have any accidents as long as he is naked from the waist down. We have been working on wearing underwear and not treating them like diapers. He did go to the store with me today, and kept his big boy undies dry!

She sure did love them!

This is what our dinner table looks like now. A naked boy and a baby sitting on the table.

Fish Lake

We had a lot of fun this year at our Robison family reunion. We went to Fish Lake, Utah again. Most of the family was able to attend, at least for a few days. The kids enjoyed fishing, playing pirates, playing with cousins, and seeing deer. It is the perfect place to go for a reunion, because we can just let the kids wander around on their own. They stay close to the cabin, but they have some freedom to do as they please. We had lots of activities this year, and I think everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It is always fun to get together with all of the family. We always have a great time!

Taryn's Blessing

So, I'm very behind in posting. Here are some pics of Taryn's blessing day. She was blessed on July 5th by her dad. Almost all of the family was here to see her. She looked beautiful in her little white dress! Afterwards, we decided to go swimming at Drew's parent's hotel. We were going to take Taryn, but decided to leave her home with her ggma instead. She still looked cute in her bathing suit!

San Diego

This last weekend we went to San Diego with my family. We spent the whole day Friday at Sea World. The kids LOVED it! They loved seeing all of the animals, especially Shamu, the sharks, and the penguins. We had quite a group. Everyone was there from my family, except Corey. We also had my cousin Camille, my aunt Susan, my other cousin Crystal and her three girls. Altogether, there were 24 of us. On Saturday, we all went down to the beach. It was rainy and cold, so only a few of us were brave enough to get into the water. Teagan fell in by accident. He was running from the waves when he tripped and fell down. The waves completely soaked him! Most of the family headed home on Saturday, but we stayed and went to visit some friends in Palm Desert. The kids had fun swimming and playing while we were at uncle Jake's house. It was a good vacation, and since the Sea World tickets are good for another day, we will probably do it all again in the fall.

Most of our group...at least the back of their heads!

What a week!

On Monday, I took Taryn to her 1 month appointment. She is now 8 lbs. 13 oz., and 22 inches long. She got a shot, which she didn't love. I had to return to the doctor on Wednesday, because the boys had something like pink eye. They are all cleared up now, but I still don't want to take them around other kids. I've been sick all week, and now Drew is catching it. So, we have all had a lot of fun this week! At least Taryn hasn't picked up any of our illnesses!

Catch-Up Time!

I've been a bit busy the last two weeks, so I thought that I would just catch-up all in one post. Taryn had her 2 week Dr. appointment. She was 8 lbs. 21 inches. Everything else was good. She had her PKU test, but she didn't like that very much. Who could blame her? Teagan wasn't a big fan of the test either. He didn't like hearing his sister cry. As usual, Quin could have cared less what was happening to Taryn!
Taryn saying, "What the hell! Why am I not being held?"

"Awww...that's more like it!"
Here's some more Lyman cousin pictures. We can never pass up an opportunity to torture the kids by taking their picture! As you can see, they all looked thrilled to have to sit still.

Quin is reverting back to being a baby. He likes to do whatever a baby does so that we will focus more attention on him. He still isn't too happy about having a sister around.

He likes to steal Taryn's pacifiers...

Sit in her swing...

And sit in her chair. He was pretty tired after swimming that he passed out.

And then rolled over.
Teagan finished Joy School. We had a big pizza/pool party on the last day. Teagan had a lot of fun this year at Joy School. Although, if you ask him what he learned about, he'll either say "Stuff" or "I didn't learn anything!" He did have fun playing with his friends each week.
Here's his Joy School buddies. Cora (his girlfriend), Scout, Payton, Teagan, and Ryan.
