Sea World
Over Valentine's weekend, we took the kids to Sea World. Drew had a three day weekend, so it was the perfect time for a little vacation. We spent all day Saturday at Sea World. The kids loved it. They had fun watching the shows and seeing all of the animals. Taryn even loved every minute. On Sunday, we went to Balboa Park to see the Natural History Museum. The kids loved to see the dinosaurs and the other animals. We decided to drive home on Sunday (Valentine's Day), so that we could have a day to ourselves at home on Monday. On the way home we stopped at the restaurant Johnny Carino's. This is the same restaurant that Drew and I had our first date at in Idaho. It was a great weekend!

Valentine's Day
The boys were really excited about Valentine's Day this year. They had a party at preschool where they got lots of treats. They also loved handing out their own valentines. They also each got a cookie with their names on it from their mom. My mom always made these big sugar cookies every year, so I thought that I would do that for my kids too. We celebrated the day early, because we went to San Diego for Valentines weekend.

Teagan's 5th Birthday!
Teagan turned 5 the day after Christmas. He had a two birthday parties, one with friends, and one with family. He decided that he wanted a dinosaur party, so we played pin the tooth and the T-Rex, and we had a dinosaur scavenger hunt. Teagan had so much fun. He also got a new bike for his birthday. He spent most of the day riding his new "big boy bike". Quin was happy too, because he was able to ride Teagan's scooter.
Christmas Day
Christmas Day started off with the boys waking up early. We sent daddy downstairs to make sure that Santa hadn't missed our house. The boys were so excited. Taryn had no idea what was happening, but she enjoyed trying to eat the wrapping paper. When the boys first came downstairs, they saw their new train table. They had smiles on from ear to ear! After they opened a present, then they would jump up and run back to their new trains. I guess Santa did pretty good this year. After we finished with all the presents at our house, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Lyman's. Santa had brought all of the grandkids a new trampoline to jump on. We also opened presents and had Christmas dinner there.
